Palak lauds progress in outsourcing sector

Bangladesh's talented youths are making progress in the outsourcing sector despite obstacles, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said.

A media statement from the ministry on Monday said Palak lauded the tech-savvy youths.

"We are determined to make Bangladesh a middle-income country by 2021," the junior minister said while visiting Digicon Technologies Limited.

He remarked that Digicon was strengthening the economic base by providing outsourcing services with honesty and efficiency.

Digicon CEO Wahid Sharif informed him that his organisation was providing services to institutions including state-run Teletalk.

Palak, the youngest minister in the Cabinet, said the country was making advances in the outsourcing sector not only because of the government's assistance but also because of the brilliant and efficient youths.
